Mediterranean Menus started with a simple idea: the recipes we grew up with, and the ones we discovered later, deserve to be cooked well and explained clearly — no long detours before you get to the ingredients.
Who we cook for
We write for two kinds of readers, often the same person: home cooks with Greek, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or wider Mediterranean roots who want the dishes they remember from family kitchens, and anyone following a Mediterranean diet who wants real, satisfying food rather than a list of rules. Every recipe on this site uses ingredients you can find at a normal American grocery store.
How we write a recipe
Short intro, clear ingredient list, numbered steps you can actually follow while cooking. We test for flavor first, but we also care about the numbers — every recipe lists prep and cook time, servings, and an estimated calorie count, so you know what you’re making before you start.
