This is Mediterranean dessert at its simplest: thick, tangy Greek yogurt drizzled with golden honey, topped with juicy fresh figs and toasted walnuts. It takes minutes to assemble and captures everything the region’s cooking does best, letting a few excellent ingredients speak for themselves.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups thick Greek yogurt, chilled
  • 4-6 fresh figs, quartered
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, toasted and roughly chopped
  • 3-4 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Assemble
Divide the Greek yogurt among serving bowls.
  2. Top
Arrange the fresh fig quarters over the yogurt and scatter with toasted walnuts.
  3. Finish
Drizzle generously with honey and dust with cinnamon if using.
  4. Serve
Garnish with fresh mint and serve immediately.
